Jose Rodriguez

Jose Adan Rodriguez, 78, of Brownsville Texas, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Rodriguez is preceded in death by his parents Basilio and Virginia Rodriguez and a son: Fernando Rodriguez.

Mr. Rodriguez is survived by his wife Cruz M. Rodriguez and 7 children: Mary Elizabeth Brad Simpson, Araceli Ben Sandoval, Jose Adan Rodriguez, Jr., Domingo Garcia, Jose Luis Rodriguez, Leticia Rodriguez and Ruben Rodriguez.

Also surviving is 9 grandchildren, 6 greatgrandchildren along with his 3 sisters: Maria Eva Sanchez, Teresa Rodriguez Palacios, Hilda Rodriguez and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as Pallbearers will be: Brad Simpson, Ben Sandoval, Christopher Tapia, Jose Adan Morin, Benjamin Sandoval, Steven Sandoval, Gary Blair and Adalberto Palacios.

Mr. Rodriguez worked for many years at The Jacob Brown Auditorium and retired from the City of Brownsville, TX. He continued to work at The Jacob Brown Auditorium when it transferred to UTB and retired in 2003.

Visitation will begin from 10am to 9pm on Thursday, May 29, 2014 in the North Chapel of Trevio Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7 pm. A chapel service at 2pm on Friday, May 30, 2014 interment to follow to Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
