Jose Ramirez

Jose de Jesus Ramirez, 52, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2018.

Jose was born to Simon Ramirez and Maria Isabel G. Ramirez in Mexico. He retired from being a mechanic and took pride of his work and knowledge. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed not only by his family and friends but by all those fortunate enough to have known him.

Jose was preceded in death by his parents; his two brothers Norberto Ramirez, Simon Ramirez and is survived by his loving wife Laura E. Ramirez; two daughters Mayte Ivonne Ramirez (Junior Javier B. Torres) and Yanira Elena Ramirez. Also, to treasure many memories are his siblings; Mauro Ramirez, Jose Ramirez, Natalia Ramirez Jimenez, Maria Dolores Ramirez, Guadalupe Mares; two grandchildren and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, November 19, 2018, with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the North Chapel of Trevino Funeral Home. Visitation resumes 8:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2018 following a funeral mass 11 a.m. at San Eugenio de Mazenod Catholic Church located on 5409 Austin Rd. in Brownsville, Texas 78521. Services will conclude; to respect his wishes, cremation will follow.
