Jose Padron Munivez,92, passed away on Tuesday, July 16,2013 at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his parents Francisco Najar Munivez and Natividad Padron Munivez brothers Agustin, Antonio, Francisco and Samuel sisters Natividad M. Gonzalez and Concepcion M. Garzoria.
He is survived by his daughter Elvia M. Ramirez and son, Mariano E. Munivez. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Tania Sue, Mariano II and Shannon Leigh Munivez his sister, Ignacia Munivez several nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Jose was a lifelong resident of Brownsville veteran of US Army during WWII Life Member of Disabled American Veterans a member of Disabled American Veterans a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and a retired employee of PUB for 27 years.
VISITATION: Thursday, July 18,2013 from 5pm to 9pm with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7pm at Trevino Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Friday, July 19, 2013 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
BURIAL: Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens
Military Honors to be conducted by Commander Luis Lucio. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Daniel Pompa, Joey de la Garza, Gilbert Garzoria,Jr., David Gonzalez, Nathan De Leon and Robert Manjarrez.
Honorary Pallbearers are as follows: Senator Eddie Lucio, Aurora De La Garza, Linda Salazar, Jesse Gilbert De Leon and Mariano Gonzalez.
