Jose Tomas Garduno Gonzalez, a cherished father, brother, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2024, in Brownsville, Texas. Born on July 25, 1957, in Mexico, he brought joy and laughter to those around him with his warm spirit and strength.

Jose was a lover of music, often expressing himself through his singing and composing his own creations. His passion for music was complemented by his interest in soccer, where he supported his favorite team, Cruz Azul. He enjoyed spending time with his family, creating lasting memories that will be fondly remembered by his loved ones.

Throughout his life, Jose was known for his strong will and caring nature. His infectious humor and love for making jokes brightened the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Jose leaves behind five beautiful children: Karina Garduno, Grisel Garduno, Jose Tomas Garduno, Sarai Garduno, and Jose Tomas Garduno Jr. He is also survived by two loving sisters, Maria Graduno and Araceli Graduno, and ten grandchildren, who will carry on his legacy of kindness and laughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Tomas Garduno and Clemelia Gonzalez, and his brother, Alejandro Garduno.

The family will hold services at Trevino Funeral Home located at 1955 Southmost Rd., Brownsville, Texas, 78521. The visitation will begin on Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, followed by a rosary from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, to celebrate the life of a remarkable man. Services will conclude with Trevino Funeral Home after Thursday at 9:00 PM and be transferred to Matamoros, Mexico in the care of Funeraria Lozano with visitation on Friday, December 6, 2024 at 9am to Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 9 am and be buried Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Rancho Ejido La Ventana.

José Tomás Garduño González, un querido padre, hermano y abuelo, falleció pacíficamente el 30 de noviembre de 2024 en Brownsville, Texas. Nacido el 25 de julio de 1957 en México, trajo alegría y risas a quienes lo rodeaban con su cálido espíritu y fuerza.

José era un amante de la música, a menudo se expresaba a través de su canto y componiendo sus propias creaciones. Su pasión por la música se complementaba con su interés por el fútbol, donde apoyaba a su equipo favorito, Cruz Azul. Disfrutaba pasar tiempo con su familia, creando recuerdos duraderos que serán recordados con cariño por sus seres queridos.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, José Tomás Garduño y Clemelia González, y su hermano, Alejandro Garduño.

La familia llevará a cabo los servicios en la Funeraria Treviño ubicada en 1955 Southmost Rd., Brownsville, Texas, 78521. La visitación comenzará el jueves 5 de diciembre de 2024, de 12:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m., seguida de un rosario de 7:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m., para celebrar la vida de un hombre extraordinario. Los servicios concluirán con la Funeraria Treviño después del jueves a las 9:00 p.m. y serán trasladados a Matamoros, México al cuidado de Funeraria Lozano con visitación el viernes 6 de diciembre de 2024 a las 9 a.m. hasta el sábado 7 de diciembre de 2024 a las 9 a.m. y será enterrado el sábado 7 de diciembre de 2024 en Rancho Ejido La Ventana.
