Jose Cantu

Jose Luis Cantu, 66 of Brownsville, Texas, went to be with the Lord on October 19,2013.
Jose served the United States Army Co. B, 18th Battalion 1st Infantry, and Helicopter Doorgunner, Vietnam 1969 1970. He hailed from LA 421.

He is preceded in death by his father Guadalupe Cantu, his mother Maria Luisa Trevino Cantu, his brother Guadalupe Lopez, sister Cele Alcala and sister Irene Thomas. He is survived by his sons Joseph and Angie Cantu Houston, Alphonso Cantu Houston and Gabe and Ana Cantu San Antonio as well as his daughters Melissa Cantu Martinez and Roy Martinez Houston and Michelle Cantu Wilson and Brock Wilson Houston. His grandsons Christian Cantu, Robert Cantu, Jason Martinez, Anthony Martinez, Angelo Cantu, Emiliano Cantu and Brock Wilson and his granddaughters Christian Cantu, Ashly Cantu, Brylie Cantu, Kirin Cantu, Ava Wilson and Emma Wilson, as well as his great grandchildren Connor Enderli, Jadyn Cantu and Ava Enderli. He is also survived by his sister Ester Hinojosa Brownsville, brothers Ramon Cantu Brownsville and Oscar Cantu San Antonio.


Funeral Arrangements: Viewing will be at Trevino Funeral Home on Southmost, 10252013 from 5 9 P.M., religious service at Holy Family Church, 2405 E. Tyler on 10262013 at 10:00 A.M., with procession immediately following to Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
