August 19, 1946 — June 23, 2013

Jose El Gero Aorga, Jr., 66, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at his residence. He was a lifelong Brownsville resident.
He was a Vietnam War Veteran where he received a Purple Heart. He was a member of the 1st Battalion Airborne Cavalry, Jumping Mustangs. He was an Honorary Trooper with 1st Airborne Battalion 509 Mechanized Infantry.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jose and Simona Flores Aorga, two brothers Samuel Flores Aorga and Daniel Midnight Aorga.
He is survived by his wife Yolanda Lopez Aorga two daughters Patricia Ann Noe Marcos Garza Aorga and Yolanda Aorga Isaac Ramos Sisters Emilia Jaime Ruiz, Margarita Raul Perez, Maria De Jesus Jose Orive, Cleotilde Cesar Arizmendi and Hilda Fernando Cortez Brothers Juan Cinfurosa Aorga, and Noel Aorga Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation will be held today Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from 9am to 9pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7pm at Trevino Funeral Home, 1355 Old Port Isabel Rd. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Military Rites will be conducted by the VFW Post 2035 Honor Guard.
