Jose Alberto Ruiz entered eternal rest on Saturday, May 14, 2022.

Jose Alberto Ruiz was born to Agosto Ruiz and Amelia Espinoza in Brownsville, Texas. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

Jose Alberto Ruiz was preceded in death by his loving wife Felicidad Ruiz and his parents Agosto, Amelia Ruiz. He is survived by his children Jose Alberto Ruiz Jr., Nancy Ruiz, John Joe Ruiz, and Elizabeth Ruiz Also, to treasure many memories are his grandchildren; Jose Alberto Ruiz III, John Joe Jr. Ruiz, Jackie Ruiz, Miranda Ruiz, Kathryhn Ruiz, Jovan Ruiz, Jose Angel Guajardo, Katelyhn Guajardo, and Kaylah Guajardo.

Visitation will be from 2 pm to 9 pm on Thursday, May 19, 2022, with a Rosary at 7 pm in the North Chapel of Trevino Funeral Home. Visitation will resume at 8:15 am to 9:30 am on Friday, May 20, 2022, Funeral Mass will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church at 10 am on Friday, May 20, 2022. Rite of committal will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
