Jose Mario Aguilar, a noble man, passed away on June 17, 2024, in Brownsville, Texas. He was born on February 26, 1946, in Linares, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to his loving parents, Jose Isabel Aguilar and Aurelia Reyes.
Throughout his life, Jose Mario Aguilar found joy in simple pleasures like bowling and cycling. His hobbies brought him closer to those around him and offered moments of happiness that will be cherished by all who knew him.
In his final days, Jose Mario Aguilar was surrounded by love and support from his surviving family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Roselia Aguilar Galvan Tapia, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Additionally, he leaves behind his three beautiful children: Rosie Aguilar (Jesus), Jose Mario Aguilar Jr. (Carolina), and Leslie Aguilar. His memory will also live on through the numerous grandchildren he has, Gisselle Rivera, Kaylen Rivera, Isabelle Rios, Aaliyah Aguilar, Chloe Aguilar, Jacob Aguilar, Dominic Aguilar, Jose Mario Aguilar III., Kamila Aguilar and Santiago Aguilar. Their memories of him will be a source of comfort as they navigate this difficult time.
Jose Mario Aguilar is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Jose Isabel Aguilar† and Aurelia Reyes†.
The services to honor the life of Jose Mario Aguilar will take place at Trevino Funeral Home in Brownsville, Texas. A visitation will be held on June 24, 2024, starting at 12:00 PM and ending at 9:00 PM. Following the visitation, a Prayer Service will be conducted from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM on the same day. Visitation will continue Tuesday, June 25, 2024, from 8:15 AM to 12:30 PM. A chapel service will be held at 12 noon on the same day. Following will be a burial at Buena Vista Burial Park at 1 PM. These gatherings will offer an opportunity for family and friends to come together to remember Jose Mario Aguilar with love and respect.
