Jesse Abraham Ponce

Jesse Abraham Ponce, passed peacefully to his eternal life on Friday, June 23, 2023, at the age of thirty years old. He was born October 31, 1992, in Brownsville, Texas to Ana Luisa Ponce.  

Jesse was a loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend.

He will be profoundly remembered for the happiness and love he spread to others. He leaves behind great memories of spending time with family and friends, his love of football and the Dallas Cowboys, however, none will compare to the love he held for his wife, children, family and those he held close to his heart.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother; Ana Luisa Ponce, his loving wife; Denise Oralia Ponce, children; Damian Ponce, Jayleen Ponce, Hailey Ponce, and Caroline Ponce, siblings; Michael Rodriguez, Juan Chapa, Lorena Chapa, Rosalva Chapa, Irma Chapa, Matthew Garcia, Gilbert Echavarria, maternal grandparents; Maria Luisa and Matias Ponce as well as numerous relatives and friends.  

Public visitation in his honor will take place at Treviño Funeral Home-Old Port Isabel Rd., 1355 Old Port Isabel Rd., Brownsville, Texas on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m.

Visitation will resume on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at 8:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with a chapel service at 12:00 p.m. and burial to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 McDavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
