Javier Moreno

Javier Moreno, 53, peacefully passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.

Javier was born to Jose Ignacio and Susana Roque Moreno in Brownsville, Texas. He retired from being a Security Guard for many years. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed not only by his family and friends but by all those fortunate enough to have known him.

He was preceded in death by his father Jose Ignacio Moreno and is survived by his mother Susana Moreno; his beloved wife of thirty-two years Norma Linda Zamora Moreno; his loving children Javier Moreno Jr. (Janice Margenau), Margarita Moreno (David Zuniga) and Amanda Moreno (Sergio Maldonado). Also, to treasure many memories are his siblings; his grandchildren Javier Angel Moreno, Christian Moreno, Adrian Zuniga, Sergio Maldonado Jr., Ramiro Zuniga, Nayeli Moreno, Jose Ignacio Moreno, Erik Zuniga, Arleny Maldonado, Faith Zuniga and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2018, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the North Chapel of Trevino Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church located on 2645 Tulipan Street following burial at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
