Irene Gonzalez, 88 of Brownsville, Texas entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Vista Rehab Heathcare in Brownsville, Texas.

Miss Gonzalez was born on October 20, 1925 in Corpus Chirsti, Texas, to Emilio Gonzalez DeLeon and Ofelia Campos Quinones.

Irene Gonzalez was preceded in death by her parents: Emilio De Leon and Ofelia Campos Quinones, her sister: Elba Gonzalez Campos and her 2 brothers: Emilio Gonzalez Campos and Mario Gonzalez Campos.

Miss Gonzalez is survived by her 2 sister: Ofelia Guadalupe Gonzalez Campos and Felicitas Gonzalez Campos, she is also survived by 10 nephews and nieces and 17 great nephew and nieces.

Visitation will begin on Saturday, May 31, 2014 in our Chapel of Devotion from 11:00am to 9:00pm, with a Holy Rosary at 7:00pm. A Chapel Service will be on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at 10:00am in our Chapel of Devotion with cremation to follow.
