aligncenter Ildefonso R. Barrientos, 77, passed away and entered into eternal rest with the Lord on Friday, October 10, 2008. He was born on January 23, 1931 in Cd. Del Maiz, San Luis Potosi,Mexico. He was a longtime resident of Brownsville, Texas. Mr. Barrientos was a retired employee of Brownsville Independent School District. He will always be missed and remembered in our hearts and prayers He is preceded in death by his parents, Reyes and Mercedes Rodriguez Barrientos; his son Hector Barrientos; and a brother and a sister. Left to cherish his kind spirit are his family; his wife Camila Barrientos; his daughter, Maria Del Rosario B. Garza of Brownsville; sons Ildefonso Barrientos,Jr. of Baytown,Tx and Roberto Barrientos of Brownsville ; daughter Marina Estela Rodriguez of Brownsville; sister Cruz Barrientos of Mexico and brothers Isaias Barrientos and Regino Barrientos both of Mexico; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10:00a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, October 12, 2008 with a recitation of Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home North Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 10am Monday, October 13, 2008 at Christ the King Catholic Church with interment to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Special Thanks to Dr. Ahmad Karkoutly, Dr. Balesh Sharma, and the Valley Baptist ICU Nursing Staff for their dedication and caring for our father during his stay.
