Hilda Escobedo

Hilda Escobedo entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at the age of seventy- five.

Hilda was born to Eliud Escobedo and Victoria Banda in Mexico. She enjoyed cooking for her family and taking care of family. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by parents; her husband Israel Lucio and is survived by her loving children; Norma (Jesus) Jurado, Maria Lucio, Israel (Elvira Garza) Lucio and Jose Guadalupe Lucio. Also, to treasure many memories are ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday, October 20, 2019, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the North Chapel of Treviño Funeral Home. Visitation resumes at 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. Monday, October 21, 2019. A funeral mass is scheduled at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 21, 2019 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church located at 2645 Tulipan Street in Brownsville, Texas with a rite of committal to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
