Herminia Garza

Herminia "Minnie" Garza, 86, of Brownsville, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2025. Born on March 2, 1939, in Brownsville, she lived a life marked by dedication to her family, a spirit of generosity, and a profound faith.

Minnie was known for her love and commitment to her family. She always put others before herself, embodying the spirit of compassion and kindness in her everyday interactions. Her religious faith played a significant role in her life, guiding her actions and the loving support she provided to those around her. She found joy in reading the Bible, which was one of her great passions alongside her love for crossword puzzles and taking walks outside.

Minnie is survived by her beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe Garza and Rosa Coronado, as well as her siblings: Guadalupe Garza, Macario Garza, Cecilio Garza, Victor Garza, Jose Garza, Carlos Garza, Rita Alvarado, Maria Moreno and Micaela Garza.

Minnie will be remembered not only for her kindness and caring nature but also for the many lives she touched throughout her years. May Herminia rest in eternal peace.

- Visitation: Monday, May 5, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM

- Rosary: Monday, May 5, 2025, at 7:00 PM

- Visitation: Tuesday, May 6, 2025, from 8:15 AM to 9:00 AM

- Mass: Tuesday, May 6, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.

- Burial: Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Buena Vista Burial Park, 1024 Mc Davitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521, at 11:00 AM.
