Guillermo Barajas

January 21, 1947 — November 7, 2017

Guillermo (Memo) Barajas, 70, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, after battling pancreatic cancer.

He was a Raymondville resident, graduated from Raymondville High and studied at PanAm in Edinburg, TX. Memo was a wonderful husband to Elizabeth Barajas. He had big passion for golf and family gatherings where he would show off his skills on the grill at El Toro Bar.

Memo was born in Leon, Guanajuato to Maria Del Refugio "Cuca" Barajas.

Memo is preceded in death by his mother, brothers, Clemente Urbina, Maximino Urbina Barajas and Jose Luis Urbina Barajas.

He leaves behind his wife Elizabeth Barajas; sons Marco Barajas, Carlos Barajas; brother Eleuterio Urbina Barajas; sisters Guadalupe Urbina Barajas, Maria Garcia, Bibiana McGee; three grandchildren Jayden, Sereniti, Enzo Salazar and his best friend "Chico".

The Barajas Family would like to give thanks to his medical team from Safe Haven Hospice, Texas Oncology staff, Brownsville Community Health Center and everyone else that helped the family during this journey. Thank you all for your support and prayers. Memo will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

There will be no local services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of, to the Humane Society and/or First Tee at PAGA Kids Program.
