Guadalupe Saldivar

Mr. Guadalupe Saldivar 81, born on September 28, 1941, in Brownsville, Texas went to be with the Lord surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday January 11, 2023, in Brownsville, Texas.

Guadalupe will be remembered for his love of ranching, welding, and his immense love he held for his family and friends. Guadalupe was a devoted father and grandfather as he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Felipe Saldivar, and Santiaga Duñez, and his loving wife of many years, Elda Saldivar.

He is survived by his loving children; Jesus Guadalupe (Alma) Saldivar, Sonia Saldivar, and  Miroslava (Gregorio Cardenas) Saldivar, nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren as well as numerous extended family members.

Public Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm in the North Chapel of Trevino Funeral Home.

Visitation resumes Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at 8:15 am to 11:45 am with a Chapel service at 12:00 pm in the North Chapel of Trevino Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens 4464 Old Port Isabel Rd. in Brownsville, Texas.
