Mrs. Guadalupe Gonzalez, also known as Lupita and “La Guapa”, entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 15th, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.
Guadalupe was born in 1928 to Maximo Davila and Juanita Lerma in Mexico. All her life she dedicated herself to her family and home. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband Agapito Gonzalez and their son Humberto Gonzalez and is survived by her seven loving children; Juanita Gonzalez, Blanca Sanchez and her husband Dilip Kanuga, Agapito Gonzalez Jr., Maria Guadalupe Cornejo and her husband David Cornejo, Maria Luisa Garcia and her husband Melecio Longoria, Gilberto Gonzalez, Aracelia Gonzalez and her husband Edgar Benavidez. Also, to treasure many memories are her siblings; Francisca Davila Lerma, Antonio Davila Lerma, Oralia Davila Lerma; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and extended family members.
Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the South Chapel of Treviño Funeral Home. The funeral mass is scheduled at 9 a.m. on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Cathedral. Rite of committal will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
