Guadalupe Alvarado, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 26, 2020, at the age of seventy years old.
Guadalupe was born to Faustuno and Eugenia Barrios in Brownsville, Texas in 1949.
Guadalupe was preceded in death by her parents Faustuno and Eugenia Barrios, four siblings; Faustuna Barrios, Cleofas Amaro, Maria Limon, Juanita Barrios and is survived by her loving husband of forty-seven years Feliciano Alvarado, children; Leticia Alvarado, Olga (Rey) Cantu, Gabriela (Gliberto) Castillo, Esmeralda Alvarado, and Maria Luisa Alvarado. Also, to treasure many memories are her eight grandchildren; Rey Cantu, Kevin Cantu, Mark Cantu, Desiree N. Perez, John Bowen, Britney Bowen, Natalia Castillo, Joseph Castillo, four great-grandchildren; Zaiden A. Gonzalez, Ocean Grace Lopez, Orion Daniel Lopez, Ethen Dean Bowen and extended family members.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, November 1, 2020, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. in the South Chapel of Trevino Funeral Home. Visitation will resume at 8:15 a.m. on Monday, November 2, 2020. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 2,2020. As per her wish’s services concluded cremation to follow.
