Gricelda Serna

Gricelda (Villareal) Serna, 44, entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 16, 2018 at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

As a teacher and counselor Gricelda touched the lives of many of our community's children. She worked for the BISD for 11 years.

Gricelda was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed not only by her family and friends but by those fortunate enough to have known her.

Gricelda was preceded in death by both her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of her are her parents, Maria Magdalena Castillo, and Benito V. Villarreal along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family members.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. and continue through 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 18, 2018, at Trevino Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at 12 Noon on Monday, March 19, 2018, at Trevino Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
