Gregorio Goyito Reyes III entered the Lords Kingdom on July 27, 2008.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Gracie Reyes, his mother Matilde Reyes, his father Gregorio Reyes Jr. and his grandmother Eulogia Hinojosa.
Gregorio graduated from Saint Joseph Academy with the Class of 1964. He received a certificate of accounting from Harlingen Technical College. Gregorio was a loving son, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle, husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. He dedicated much of his life working for only three employers Booth Fisheries, Fisher Price Toys and B.I.S.D. He had a special gift for music which he nurtured throughout his lifetime. He had the ability to play any instrument with great skill. He used it to entertain a countless number of people and forge a lifelong brotherhood with his fellow musicians.
Greogorio approached life passionately with the technical ability of an engineer and the soul of a great musician. He gave from his heart till his heart could give no more. Gregorio Goyito Reyes III will be missed immensely by those whose lives he touched and will be welcomed by family who had gone before him.
He is survived by his daughter Crissy Reyes, his sons David Reyes and Gregorio Reyes IV, his sister Julia Vasquez and brother in law Jesus Vasquez Sr., his dauthers-in-law Diana and Amanda Reyes and sister-in-law Jeannette Silva. He also says goodbye to his granddaughters, Chelsey, Alysa, and Sophia, grandsons Steven and Sebastian, his nephew, Jesus Vasquez, Jr and nieces Julian Serna and Jeannette Vasquez.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m.,, Wednesday, July 30, 2008 and visitation will resume from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2008. A celebration of life service will be at 12:30 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home South Chapel followed by a funeral mass at 3 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Cathedral. Funeral procession will depart at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be at 3 p.m. Friday, August 1, 2008 at the Brownsville City Cemetery.
