George Oceguera, Jr. 55, of Brownsville/Port Isabel, Texas entered eternal rest at home on Friday, June 23, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
George was a devoted father, grandpa, brother, and friend.
It was no secret he was an America Aguilas and a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan.
Win or lose he was a DC4L football fan.
He was loved by all who knew him because of his giving heart and wonderful personality.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Jesus† and Piedad Oceguera†,
maternal grandparents; Jose† and Antonia Reyes†, father; Jorge Oceguera Velasquez, Sr.†, and brother; Fabian Oceguera†.
Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife of 31 years; Frances Oceguera; daughter; Lisa (Luis) Garcia, 2 sons; George Oceguera, III, and Fabian Oceguera; mother; Olivia Oceguera Reyes, 2 Brothers; Robert Oceguera, and Carlos (Anna) Oceguera, his sister; Carla (Luis) Garcia Oceguera, 3 grandchildren; Adalyn Galvan, Victor Galvan, Jr., and Victoria Galvan as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on June 30, 2023, with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. in the North Chapel at Trevino Funeral Home. As per the family’s wishes services will conclude, cremation to follow.
