Gamaliel M. “El Guero Paipas” Ibarra, entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 27, 2020, at the age of sixty-seven years old surrounded by his loving family.
Gamaliel was born to Juan and Concepcion M. Ibarra in Matamoros, Mexico. He retired from pipe welding and machine operating. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
Gamaliel was preceded in death by his parents Juan and Concepcion M. Ibarra, siblings Martha Treviño, Patricio Ibarra, Juan Antonio Ibarra and is survived by his loving wife of fifty years Enriqueta T. Ibarra, and eight children; Nancy (Daniel) Ledezma, Jeanie Ibarra, Gamaliel Ibarra Jr, Benito (Angelica) Ibarra, Juan Erique (Joanna) Ibarra, Blanca (Fernando) Valdez, Jorge Ibarra, and Steven Ibarra. Also, to treasure many memories are his seventeen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, siblings; Rodolfo Ibarra, Yolanda Barrientos, Rosa Cisneros, Tomasa Sosa, Marisela Ibarra and extended family members.
Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. in the South Trevino Funeral Home. Services will conclude; to respect his wishes, cremation will follow.
