It is with great sadness that the family of Frank James Slovak announce of his passing. He passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021 at the age of seventy three years old.
Frank was born to Frank William and Juanita B. Slovak in 1947 in Brownsville, Texas. He enjoyed his family and his daily chores with his farm pets. He was retired and spent most of his time at home with family and friends. To respect his final wishes, he will be cremated after visitation. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by family and a host of friends.
Frank was preceded in death by; his parents; his brother Steven E. Slovak and is survived by his loving wife Juanita Slovak. Frank leaves behind eight children; Daniel Steve Slovak, Annie Marie Slovak, Eddie T. Slovak, Ronnie Lee Slovak, Frank Slovak Jr., Joedy Slovak, Leslie Palmieri and Edwin Slovak. Also, to treasure many memories are his numerous grandchildren; his siblings, William, David, John, Andrew, Bob, Mary Perez, Cherry Gajowski, Jane Fiel, Sandra Bochas, extended family members and a host of friends.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021, with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the South Chapel of Treviño Funeral Home. Services will conclude; to respect his wishes, cremation will follow.
