Francisca Vargas

Francisca L. Vargas entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 4th, 2020 at the age of eighty-seven.

Francisca was born to Antonio Leal and Enriqueta Rodriguez in San Benito, Texas. She was a lifetime resident of Brownsville, Texas and retired from many years of service working in Levi’s Strauss and Company. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Raul G. Vargas and is survived by her loving four children; Maria Carolina Rousset and her husband George, Noe Vargas, Raul Vargas, Jr. and Gracie Miranda and her husband George. Also, to treasure many memories are her six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday, March 8th, 2020 with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. in the South Chapel of Treviño Funeral Home. Visitation resumes 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. Monday, March 9th, 2020 with a chapel service scheduled 10 a.m. Rite of committal will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
