Felipe Lopez, Jr.

Felipe de Jesus Lopez, Jr., 21, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2018 in Brownsville, Texas. He will be greatly missed.

Felipe was born to Felipe de Jesus and Bertha Carranza in Brownsville, Texas. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed not only by his family and friends but by all those fortunate enough to have known him.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Marcelino Lopez and maternal grandmother Calletana Carranza.

Felipe is survived by his loving parents Felipe de Jesus and Bertha Lopez. Also, to treasure many memories are his siblings; Eric Gabriel Lopez, Jose Manuel Lopez, Diana E. Lopez, Alejandra G. Lopez, Alicia Lopez, grandparents Silvano Carranza, Margarita Barajas Lopez and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the North Chapel at Trevino Funeral Home. Visitation resumes from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2018. Chapel service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2018. Rite of committal will follow at Guillen Community Cemetery located at 9055 Boca Chica Blvd. in Brownsville, Texas.
