Federico Garcia

Federico Garcia, a kind and loving soul, passed away on April 20, 2024, in his hometown of Brownsville, TX. He was born on September 22, 1943, in the same city he called home throughout his life.

Federico is preceded in death by his parents, Federico† and Guadalupe Gonzalez†, and his loving son, Pedro Garcia†.

Federico leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that touched the lives of many He is survived by his loving partner, Joann Lucas; his sons Jr. (Angelica) Garcia and Jerry (Rebecca) Garcia; his daughters Karina (Gilbert) Montoya and Ivonne (Phillip) Garcia. Federico also leaves behind extended family members and a wide circle of friends who will forever cherish his memory.

A visitation service to honor Federico's life will be held on April 24, 2024, at Trevino Funeral Home in Brownsville, TX. The visitation will start at 12:00 PM with a prayer service at 2:00 PM. Services will conclude at 4:00 PM.

Federico was known for his warm heart, genuine smile, and unwavering love for those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
