He is survived by his wife Guadalupe M. Montalvo, children; Rosa Mohamad Montalvo Abushamat, Melba Rene Martinez Montalvo, Ruby David M. Cortez, grandchildren; Christopher Sal
ar, Kristen Castillo, Justin Cortez, Jami Cortez, Natali Cortez, Nick Cortez, Katy Cortez, pet dog; Bud Montalvo, brothers; Alfredo Salazar, Roberto Montalvo, Jose Luis Montalvo, Gustavo Montalvo, Raul Montalvo, sisters; Beatriz Cortez, Enriqueta Laws and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a memorial service at 6 p.m., Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at Trevino Funeral Home Chapel.
