Evangelina Garcia

Evangelina Montelongo Garcia entered into eternal rest on March 27, 2021 at the age of eighty-two years old.

In 1938, Evangelina was born to Esteban Montelongo and Maria Jesus Garcia in Port Isabel, Texas. She was a lifetime resident of Brownsville Texas where she pursued her career in education and served many years as a substitute teacher in BISD. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

Evangelina was preceded in death by her sons Azarel Garcia, Jr. and Michael Garcia and is survived by her daughters, Lydia Montelongo and Perla Garza and son Javier Garcia. Also, to treasure many memories are her extended family members and friends.
