Estevan Jesus Garcia

Estevan Jesus Garcia, also known as Vix Elves Garcia, was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Domingo B. Garcia and Elida O. Garcia; his maternal grandparents, Gregorio Gonzales and Concepcion G. Gonzales; and several loving aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his parents, Jose Luis O. Garcia and Sandra G. Garcia; his sister, Tamara Victoria Garcia; his devoted primary caregiver, Bertha Alicia Cantu; and a large, loving extended family.

Estevan never met a stranger. He was quick-witted, kind-hearted, and an avid reader with a sharp mind and gentle spirit. He had a true passion for Dungeons & Dragons and Magic: The Gathering, hobbies through which he found his people. He loved them deeply, and they loved him just as fiercely. His friendships were meaningful, lifelong, and enduring.

A Memorial Service to honor Estevan will be held at Trevino Funeral Home-Old Port Isabel Rd., located at 1355 Old Port Isabel Rd., Brownsville, Texas, 78521, on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Services will conclude after 9 p.m.

Estevan will be sorely missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
