Esperanza Rodriguez

Esperanza Rodriguez, 83, born January 14th, 1924 beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother went to be with the Lord on December 17, 2007.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Julian Rodriguez, her parents Graciano Velasquez and Juanita Zuniga Velasquez, son Jose Carmen Rodriguez and daughter Anna Cisneros.

Left to mourn her death is her beloved family, her children Frank Rodriguez Estela and Elvia Najera of Brownsville; her 7 grandchildren Maristel SippelChad of Hutto,TX., Ericka Rodriguez of Brownsville, Saul Chris Najera of Austin, Rebekah Najera of Austin, Clarisa Cisneros of Brownsville, Francisco Rodriguez, Jr. of Austin, and Jose Angel Cisneros, Jr of Brownsville; 2 great-grandchildren Julian Alejandro Cisneros and Ana Daniela Fuentes both of Brownsville; 2 brothers Jesus Velasquez of Cd. Mante Mexico and Agustin Velasquez of Ft.Worth,TX and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, December 19 with a holy rosary recited at 7 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church and interment to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Saul Chris Najera, Jose Angel Cisneros, JR., Francisco Rodriguez, Jr., Chad Sippel, Fernando Fuentes, and Juan Gonzalez
