Ervin Nevitt

Ervin Colonel Nevitt, 90, passed away March 7th, 2014 at Spanish Meadows in Brownsville, TX surrounded by his loving family.

He was born October 8th, 1923 in Waukegen, Illinois to Millard Ervin Nevett and Morinthia Struthers.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a son Rick Platke, a grandson Joey Platke and his motherinlaw Rose Meissner.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 45 years Rose, sons, Rex Diane Platke, John Mimi Nevitt, daughter Patricia ErvStankowski, numerous grandchildren, greatgrandchildren and many many of his extended friends and family.


Celebration of Life Service to be 2:00 pm Saturday March 15, 2014 at VFW Post 2035, 1801 Veterans Drive, Brownsville, TX 78521.
