Ernesto Ramos Sr.

Ernesto Neke Ramos Sr. was surrounded by his loving family at his residence when he went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 15, 2014.

He was preceded in death by his mother Julia R. Recio and stepfather Leo Recio.
He survived by his beloved wife Sara M. Ramos five loving sons Ernesto Jr. Jeannie, Jose Mauricio, Robert Rosie, Daniel Miriam, Isaac Yolanda two daughters Veronica Lee Monica Yvette seven grandchildren eight great grandchildren one sister Josefa Rocha and many family members that loved him dearly.


Neke served as a Sergeant in the US Army for 20 years and served as Assistant Chief for the SPIFD for 19 years. He made his family very proud.

Pallbearers: Ernesto Ramos Jr., Jose Mauricio Ramos, Robert Ramos, Daniel Ramos, Isaac Ramos, Robert Ramos Jr., and Rogelio Ramos.
Honorary pallbearers: Jose R. Robledo III, Isaiah Puga, and Isaac Ramos Jr.

Visitation: Tuesday, November 18, 2014 from 11 am to 9pm in the North Chapel of Trevio Funeral Home, 1355 Old Port Isabel Road.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 11 am at Trevio Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
