Erasmo Lopez

Erasmo A. Lopez entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at the age of eighty-three years old. Erasmo was born to Maximo Lopez and Hilaria Aguillon in Brownsville, Texas in 1937. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

Erasmo was preceded in death by his parents Maximo Lopez† and Hilaria Aguillon†, his siblings; Sabino Lopez†, Primitivo Lopez†, Fransisco Lopez†, Antonio Abel Lopez†, Mercedes Lopez†, Anita L. Bermudez†, Cleotilde Gutierrez†, San Juana Rubio† and daughter Cecilia Lopez†. Erasmo is survived by his loving children Erasmo Lopez Jr., Raquel Lopez and brother Guadalupe “Wally” Lopez. Also, to treasure many memories are his numerous nephews, nieces and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 9 p.m. on Friday, February 12, 2021, with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. in the North Chapel of Treviño Funeral Home. Visitation resumes 8:15 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2021 with a chapel service scheduled at 11 a.m. Rite of committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
