Enriqueta Ibarra

Mrs Enriqueta T. Ibarra 72, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend entered into her eternal rest on Thursday November 24, 2022.

Enriqueta was born to Antonio P. Torres and Maria Guadalupe Hernandez of Brownsville, Texas. Enriqueta was known for her fondness of playing loteria, listening to conjunto music, family gatherings, and for the immense love she held for her family and friends. Enriqueta was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister. She particularly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Enriqueta is preceded in death by her parents; Antonio P. Torres, and Maria Guadalupe Hernandez; her siblings;  Antonio Torres, Dominga Trevino; and her husband, Gamaliel Medrano Ibarrra.

Enriqueta is survived by her loving children; Nancy (Daniel) Ledezma, Jeanie (Juan Valdez) Ibarra, Gamaliel (Edith Soto) Ibarra, Bennito (Angelica) Ibarra, Juan Enrique (Danitza) Ibarra, Blanca Ibarra, Michael A. Martinez, Jorge (Erika Soldan) Ibarra, and Steven Ibarra, her siblings; Maria Sanchez, Pablo Torres, Manuel Torres, Juan Torres, Venancio Torres, and Guadalupe (Piro) Torres  Also to treasure loving memories are her 25 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren as well as extended family and friends.

Public Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. in the North Chapel at Trevino Funeral Home. Visitation resumes Wednesday November 30, 2022 at 8:15 am to 10:00 am. with chapel services at 10:00 am. in the North Chapel at Trevino Funeral Home.

Services will conclude after chapel services.

As per Mrs. Ibarra’s wishes, cremation is to follow at Sacred Park Crematory Services.
