Upon applying at the nursery the owner doubted his capability due to Daddys age- Boy did he prove them wrong. He exceeded their expectations by becoming their best employee. There was not a plant he could not bring back to life or a plant he could not sell. He finally retired at the age of 72. Dad had a passion for dancing. He was faithful to his Saturday and Sunday dance dates. He would dance until the wee hours of the morning not missing a single song. He reminisces that with those big beautiful blue eyes and smooth dance moves no girl ever turned him down. Our father enjoyed life to the fullest. God gave him 92 wonderful years. He will be greatly missed, but his love, lessons of life, and loyalty to his family will always carry on in the lives of those who he touched.
