Elida Medina

Elida Carreno Medina 70, born on June 12, 1952, in Brownsville, Texas went to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday January 4, 2023, at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in McKinney, Texas.

Elida’s favorite past times were spending time with her grandkids, and family, thrift shopping, and watching the Dallas Cowboys play.

She will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have met her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Juan Francisco Medina, and Eugenia Carreno Medina, Eight brothers, two sisters, and one grandson. She is survived by her two daughters: Michelle (Francisco, III) Ramirez,  and Hope (Rodrigo) Cruz, ten grandchildren, four sisters, two brothers as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Public Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday, January 13, 2023, with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm in the North Chapel of Trevino Funeral Home.

Visitation resumes Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 8:15 am to 9:45 am with a Chapel service at 10:00 am in the North Chapel of Trevino Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park at 5 McDavitt Blvd. in Brownsville, Texas.
