Elena Morales

Elena Morales entered  into eternal rest on July 15, 2020 at Valley Regional Hospital in Brownsville, TX. "La Nina Helen" as she was affectionately known to all was deeply loved and will be missed not only by her family and friends but all those fortunate enough to have known her.

Elena was from Jalisco Mexico and moved to Port Isabel in the early 70s where she began at The Last Stop and later at the Sea Ranch for many years and was known for the hardest worker in the Restaurant Industry.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jose Angel and Juana Diaz Marquez; a sister Maria; two brothers Jesus and Francisco Marquez. Survivors to treasure many memories is long time partner and friend Horacio Morales; six sisters; Josefa from Jalisco, MX, Angela, Angelica, Mary Lou, Carmen, Arcelca Marquez from Los Angeles, California; two daughters Adriana from San Luis, Potosi, Sandra from Tampico; one son Jose Angel Marquez also from San  Luis, Potosi; a nephew Ricardo Marquez from Dallas, TX and numerous grandchildren.
