Edna Marie Esquivel Wilson, 54, beloved mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and aunt entered into the glory of her eternal life unexpectedly at her residence in Brownsville.

Edna was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas and was preceded in death by her father, Jose Ignacio Esquivel, Sr.

Left behind to eternally treasure her memory are her mother, Bernice B. Esquivel; two sons, Dominic Rangel and his wife Leslie and their son Tyson, and Michael Wilson; her sister, Ida and her husband Michael Trainor, from Colorado; her brother, Edward, Jose Igancio Jr. and his wife Mary, Norman and his wife Norma, and Eric and his wife Flor Esquivel, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 in the North Chapel of Trevio Funeral Home with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7 p.m. Wednesday evening. The Mass of Christian Resurrection will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 555 W. St. Francis St., Brownsville, Texas. Interment will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park. Edna's sons, Dominic Rangel and Michael Wilson, along with her brothers, Edward, Norman, and Jose Igancio Jr., and her nephew Norman Esquivel Jr. are honored to be serving as her pallbearers.
