Edgar Kent

Edgar L. Kent, 85, entered into eternal life on September 5, 2009.

Mr. Kent was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, P.OW. of the Korean War and Vietnam, decorated war hero. He loved his country and defended the U.S. Flag to the end.

He is preceded in death by his step granddaughter; Kimberly Baxter; his brothers, OB Kent and Leslie Kent; sister, Stella Kent; parents, Bert Joseph Kent and Theresia Maria Rotter, wife; Josephine Kent; brother in Law; Merrell Dwayne Baxter,

He is survived by his daughter; Michelle C. Baxter, granddaughter, Jennifer Heather Schroeder; stepchildren, Mark Baxter,Bill Baxter,Curtis Baxter, sister; Betty Pratchal.

A graveside service will be conducted at Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio Texas on Thursday September 10, 2009 at 10:15 a.m.
