Eddie Rodriguez, Jr.

BROWNSVILLE, TX. - Eddie O. Rodriguez, Jr. of Brownsville, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 with his family by his side at the age of ten years old. He was born to Eddie Rodriguez, Sr. and Crystal Rodriguez on April 29, 2008 in Harlingen, Texas. Eddie attended Yturria Elementary and had just finished 4th grade before his passing. He loved chasing down garbage trucks on Thursdays in the early mornings to late Afternoon. He also loved to shower his Sophie cat. Eddie had a heart of gold and an infectious smile. He touched so many hearts and is loved by all who knew him.

His paternal great-grandparents Librada Galvan and Santana Galvan and Rafaela Rodriguez; and maternal great-grandparents, Maria de Luz Guzman and Lucas Guzman, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his parents Eddie and Crystal Rodriguez; brother, Ryan Rodriguez; maternal grandparents, Miguel and Patty Espinoza; maternal grandfather, Martin Guzman; paternal grandparents, Israel and Linda Rodriguez; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visiting hours are on Friday, June 8, 2018, beginning at two o'clock in the afternoon and concluding at nine o'clock at night, with a recitation of the holy rosary to begin at seven o'clock Friday evening within the Trevino Funeral Home North Chapel.

Funeral services will commence on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at ten o'clock in the morning, at the Holy Family Catholic Church, located at 2405 E Tyler Street, Brownsville, Texas 78520. Committal services will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville, Texas 78526.
