Dominga Salazar

Dominga Minga Salazar, 69, passed away peacefully at her residence after long battle with cancer surrounded by her family. Minga was born on august 7, 1938 in Brownsville to Pedro and Francisca Salazar who preceded her in death. Minga lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed music, dancing, and company of her friends.

She is survived by her loving family, daughter, Linda Rudy Garza, Rosie Becky Diaz Garza, sons; Marco Bonny Castillo, Jerry Yazmin Castillo, grandchildren; Sunshine, Chris, Kristal, Carla, Ashley, Mia, Brisa, and Shai, great-grandson; Isaiah M. Garza, brother, Pedro Rosa Salazar, Jr.and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday, November 13, 2007 and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at Trevino Funeral Home North Chapel. As per her wishes, Ms. Salazar will be cremated.
