Darlene Dolores Cisneros

Darlene Dolores Cisneros, a caring soul with a beautiful and charismatic personality, passed away on July 7, 2024, in Los Fresnos, Texas. She was born on October 20, 1951, to her loving parents, Floyd and Ignacia Landon.

Darlene will be forever remembered for the way she lit up any room she walked in. Her warm and compassionate nature touched the lives of all who knew her. She had a passion for gardening beautiful plants and shopping for anything that caught her eye but above all, she cherished spending time with her wonderful family.

Darlene Cisneros is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Floyd and Ignacia Landon and her sister, Carol Landon.

Darlene is survived by her loving husband, Joe Edmundo Cisneros, three beautiful sons, Joe Edmundo Cisneros (Sheila), Michael James Cisneros, and Carlos Hector Cisneros (Melissa). She is also survived by her 17 wonderful grandchildren: Samantha, Sabreena, Kevin, Clarissa, Michael, Candace, Nico, Eddie, Kayla, Sierra, Alyssa, Danika, Chloe, Andrew, Maddex, Lincoln and Memphis and her two great-grandchildren: Cam’ren and Nathan Cisneros. Left to cherish her memory along with everyone else are her caring siblings Margaret Herrera and Floyd James Landon III. Darlene's legacy of love and strength will continue through them as they navigate this time of need. 

In honor of Darlene Dolores Cisneros, visitation for her funeral will take place on Thursday, July 11, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue Friday, July 12, 2024, from 8:15 a.m. to 9 a.m. Church Service will be at 10 a.m. at Divine Mercy Church on Alton Gloor, Brownsville, Texas.
