Daniel Slade

Daniel Slade, 61, beloved Husband, Brother, Step-father, and Grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on April 28, 2022 after an 12 month battle with cancer. He entered this world on January 16, 1961 in Champaign/Urbana, IL, born to Robert and Janet Slade. He is survived by his wife Jan Thornton Slade; father Robert Slade; mother Janet Bell Slade; sister Wendy Haught; brother-in-law Edward Haught; step-son Jeffrey Hampton; daughter-in-law Samantha Hampton; step-son Joel Hampton; brother-in-law Jay Thornton; brother-in-law James Thornton; sister-in-law Julia Murtha; granddaughter Madison Kent; grandson Brayden Hampton; grandson Beckett Hampton; and grandson Sawyer Hampton.

Daniel loved art, music, and photography: He played bass guitar, and loved to paint acrylic abstract art, and take pictures of nature.

Per his wishes, his ashes will be scattered at a future date, yet undetermined.
