Daniel Ramirez

Daniel Ramirez, born on September 17, 1975, and who departed this life on September 24, 2024, in Louisiana, was a beloved friend to many and is loved deeply by his entire family. He brought joy and laughter into the lives of those around him with his happy attitude and playful spirit. Known for his sense of humor, Daniel had an ability to lighten any mood, often joking around and sharing smiles wherever he went.

Throughout his life, Daniel found great joy in the simple things. He was a well known welder in the oil rig company on and off shores, a skilled handyman, and always willing to lend a hand to help others with whatever they needed. Daniel enjoyed taking care of his plants and yard, which brought him serenity. His kindness and willingness to assist anyone in need were hallmarks of his character.

Daniel is survived by his loving wife, Mary Lynn Snyder, sons: Skyler, Joshua and Clayton Moffett, and daughter: Destiny Snyder. He is also survived by his father, Salomon Ramirez, and his siblings: Anita Ramirez Gonzales, Salomon Ramirez Jr., Mary Ramirez Castillo, Diana Rodriguez, and Norma Ramirez. Daniel's love also lives on through his beautiful grandchildren: Kyle, Emma, Sirena, Max, Mia, Sydney, Norah, Audrey, Marvin, and his little squishy, Emmitt. Daniel’s vibrant spirit will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Cruz Elva Olguin Ramirez†, and his paternal grandparents, Geronimo and Benita Ramirez†. May he rest in eternal peace.

Visitation will be held on October 12, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, located at 1355 Old Port Isabel Rd, Brownsville, TX 78521. This will be followed by a Prayer Service at the same location from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to gather to honor Daniel's memory during this time.
