Consuelo Martinez

Consuelo Leon Martinez, 66, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2013 at her residence in Port Isabel, Texas surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 24, 1947. She was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. She loved to play Bingo, to sing, make people laugh and feel good about themselves.

She is preceded in death by her mother Margarita P. Sanchez brother, Jesus Cruz sisterinlaw, Josefina Cruz and other family members.

She is survived by her only daughter, Janie Leon sisters, Angelina P. Juan Jasso, Sara C. Juvenal Herrera and her brother, Jose Luis Patricia Alvarez. She is also survived by several nieces,nephews and other family members.

VISITATION: 4pm9pm Sunday, October 20, 2013 with Rosary at 7pm at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Port Isabel, TX
VISITATION will resume on Monday, October 21, 2013. Family will welcome friends 12 noon to 1pm on Monday, October 21, 2013 Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Port Isabel, TX
FUNERAL MASS: 1 pm Monday, October 21, 2013 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Port Isabel, TX
INTERMENT: Buena Vista Burial Park in Brownsville, TX

Pallbearers are as follows: Frankie Garza, Joey Alvarez, Alfredo Herrera Sr., Erik Lee Cantu, Jay Dee Cantu, and Jaime Traya.
Honorary Pallbearers are Cosme Eric Garza Jr., Gabriel Alvarez and Joshua Traya.
