Charles Davidson

Charles F. Charlie-Cascabel Davidson 92, of Brownsville, Tx. entered into eternal life on December 13, 2009 at Valley Baptist Medical Center.

Charley Davidson was President of the East Brownsville Little League for 10 years, he was instrumental in helping young kids in staying off the streets by teaching them about baseball and golf. He was a Master Mason with Brownsville Masonic Lodge and served as a Chief Clerk with Missouri Pacific Railroad Company for 33 years.

He was preceded in death by his sons; Charles Cummings Don Rey Davidson .

He is survived by his Wife of 26 years, Luz F. Davidson ; 7 children , Dan Davidson, Tom Davidson, Steve, Lester , William Tullos, Beverly Speer and Janet Vaughan; daughter in law, Eva Cummings; 13 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. . to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m., Wednesday December 16, 2009 at Trevino Funeral Home.

Visitation will resume at 9 a.m. on Thursday December 17, 2009 with a 2 p.m. Chapel Service. Cremation to follow.

Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be his 5 sons and his grandson, John Cummings.

Special thanks to his grandson John Cummings for his physical and moral support, he never gave up during the struggle that his grandfather endured.
