Arnoldo Cavazos

Arnoldo, Cavazos, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 17th , 2021, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 69.

Arnoldo was born to Juan D. Cavazos and Magdalena C. Cavazos in Brownsville, Texas. He worked for the Social Security Administration for over 38 years, He was a member of the El Buen Pastor United Methodist Church in Brownsville, and he was a Pastor at Templo Emmanuel. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

Arnoldo was preceded in death by his parents Juan and Magdalena Cavazos and his brother Homero Cavazos and is survived by his loving wife Edelmira B. Cavazos and their two daughters Cynthia Mejia and her husband Cesar, and Laura Aguirre and her husband Arnoldo. Also, to treasure many memories are his siblings Nydia Cavazos Ruiz, four grandchildren; Clarissa Mejia, Cesar Mejia, Arnoldo Aguirre III, Ruben Aguirre and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 20th, 2021, with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. in the South Chapel of Trevino Funeral Home. Visitation resumes at 8:15 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 21st, 2021 with a chapel service scheduled at 11 a.m. Rite of committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
