Angela Gonzalez entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 8th,2021 surrounded by her loving family.

In 1951 Angela Gonzalez was born to Jose Antonio Martinez and Maria Luisa Caballero in Mexico.

Angela Gonzalez was preceded in death by her parents Jose Antonio Martinez and Maria Luisa Caballero, her beloved husband John L. Gonzalez, granddaughter Vanessa Marie Martinez, and sister Patricia Martinez.

Angela Gonzalez is survived by her companion Raul Garza Sr.; her daughters Maria Louisa Martinez and her husband Ricardo, and Christina Gamez and her husband Benigno; her loving grandchildren Ricardo Martinez Jr., Vanessa Marie Martinez †, John Ray Martinez, Crystal Gamez, Miguel Martinez, Bianca Gamez; and 2 great grandchildren Arianna Martinez, and Aaron E. Martinez. Also, to treasure many memories are her siblings Manuel Martinez, Irma Martinez, Jose Antonio Martinez, Jorge Martinez, Javier Martinez, and Gracie Martinez, extended family members and a host of friends.

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 13th, 2021, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the North Chapel of Treviño Funeral Home. Visitation resumes 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Friday May 14th, 2021 with a scheduled funeral mass at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Good Council Catholic Church located at 1055 Military Road in Brownsville, Texas 78520. Rite of committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
