Andres Reyna

Andres Leija Reyna, 107,entered into eternal rest on July 17, 2019, surrounded by his loving family.

Andres was born to Estancio Leija and Apolonia Reyna in San Luis Potosi, Mexico in 1911. He retired from labor work as a gardner. He was a member of church named Sendas De Vida Life Center in Brownsville, Texas. He was deeply loved and will be missed dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Basilisa Leija Martinez; seven children and is survived by his children; David Leija, Matiana Leija, Virginio Leija, Hiliberto Leija, Jaime Leija, Maria De La Luz Leija. Also, to treasure many memories is his brother Humberto Leija; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2019 with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. in the North Chapel of Treviño Funeral Home. Visitation resumes 8:15 a.m until 11:30 a.m. on Friday, July 19, 2019. The chapel service is scheduled at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, July 19, 2019 following the rite of committal to Buena Vista Burial Park.
