Anastacia Gonzalez

Anastacia S. Gonzalez, 91, a native and lifetime resident of Brownsville, entered into eternal life on Saturday, October 13, 2007.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Angel Gonzalez, a son, Raul S. Gonzalez and a daughter; Herminia G. Garza and her parents, Modesto Sanchez and Antonia Gonzalez Sanchez, siblings, Andrea Garza, Francisco Sanchez, Atilano Sanchez, Eugenio Sanchez, and Pablo Sanchez.

She is survived by her children; Ramiro Yolanda Gonzalez, Oralia Ramiro Cortez, Aurora Dick G. Campbell, Maria Guadalupe Mingo G. Garcia all of Brownsville, TX and Olivia Nick Lara of Gilroy, CA., sister; Guadalupe Garza, 34 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, October 15, 2007 with a holy rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 with time pending at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Ramiro Cortez, Patricio Garza, Jose A. Garza, Rolando Flores, Raul Gonzalez, Alberto Garcia, Ramiro Gonzalez, and Frankie Zamora.
